Season LaunchEsso BHP Billiton Wellington Entertainment Centre will launch its Annual Season in November of each year and Tickets will go on sale the following day. Current Members will be the first to be notified of the Season Launch and receive an invitation to attend this event.
MembershipsPatrons can become Entertainment Centre Members through payment of a $25 membership fee.Membership is valid for the period of the Entertainment Centre season in which the membership is purchased, being limited up to December 31st of that same Calendar year. Members are entitled to discounted tickets to all performances presented by the Esso BHP Billiton Wellington Entertainment Centre as part of its Annual Season. From time to time Members may also be entitled to discounted tickets to performances presented by commercial touring companies or other presenters who have chosen to extend such an offer to our members. A benefit of membership is priority invitations to post-show functions, artist talks, and the yearly season launch. More information on memberships is available from the Memberships page.
Gift CertificatesGift Certificates with the value of $50 and $100 may be purchased and can be redeemed within 12 months from the date of purchase.
Booking Tickets.
Tickets may be purchases through the online ticketing system at any time.
At 100 Foster Street, Sale where one of our friendly Box Office staff will assist you. Opening hours: Monday – Friday; 10am – 5.30 pm (except public holidays) and one hour prior to the Show.

Telephone bookings are not available one hour prior to the show.
Upon receipt of your tickets, please check to ensure the dates and times are correct and refer to the Terms and Conditions on the back of each ticket.
Terms and Conditions of SaleThese terms and conditions of sale apply to all purchases made through Esso BHP Billiton Wellington Entertainment Centre and its ticketing applications. This includes all purchases made through the Theatre Box Office, either in person or by phone, and through the online service at www.ebbwec.com.au Esso BHP Billiton Wellington Entertainment Centre operates in accordance with the Code of Practice for the ticketing of Live Entertainment Events in Australia. Refunds and ExchangesAs stated in the Season Brochure, on the www.ebbwec.com.au website, on your ticket, on Box Office signage and as explained by Box Office staff at the time of your booking, there are no refunds or exchanges on ticket purchases except as required by law.
Online BookingsWhen booking tickets online, you must take care and only select the number of tickets that you require. Please ensure that you check the the number of tickets you have selected on the Finalise Order screen before you complete the transaction. If you inadvertently book more tickets than you intended, you are committed to that purchase and we are not able to offer a refund.
Group BookingsUnless otherwise stated, Group Bookings consist of eight (8) or more tickets booked at the same time in one (1) transaction and the Group Booking discount applies only to tickets booked as part of each transaction. If any additional tickets are required, they will be treated as a new transaction and will not qualify for the Group Booking discount unless the ticket quantity of the new transaction(s) reaches a minimum of eight (8). General group booking sales can be made through the normal ticket purchase process by selecting the Group discount when purchasing tickets. School Group bookings can be made by contacting the Box Office on 03 5143 3200.
ConcessionConcession rates apply to Senior Card, Pension and/or Health Care card holders. To claim a Concession rate, proof of eligibility must be provided when purchasing tickets and must be held at all times while attending a performance where a Concession rate has been claimed. To claim a Student concession rate, students twelve (12) years and older, including fulltime University students, must provide proof of eligibility when purchasing tickets and proof of eligibility must be held at all times while attending a performance where a Student concession rate has been claimed. Esso BHP Billiton Wellington Entertainment Centre proudly participates in the Companion Card and Carer Card programs; for more details or to make a booking with either a Companion or Carer Card, contact the Box Office on 03 5143 3200.
Electronic DevicesCameras, audio and video recorders are not permitted into the venue. Mobile phones, pagers and alarms must be turned off prior to entering the venue.
ConductPatrons must not conduct themselves in a manner that interferes with the enjoyment of the facilities by other guests. The Esso BHP Billiton Wellington Entertainment Centre reserves the right at all times to request any visitor, irrespective of age, who breaches this requirement to leave the premises. AdmissionThe Esso BHP Billiton Wellington Entertainment Centre Management reserves the right to refuse any patron (or group of patrons) admission to the premises or specific performance on reasonable grounds. LatecomersLatecomers will not be admitted into the Theatre until there is a suitable break in the performance and will be escorted to their seats by an usher to minimise disruption to other patrons.
Walker Frames, Bags & PramsWalker frames (Zimmer frames) baby capsules, prams etc are not permitted to stay inside the theatre during performances as they present an evacuation hazard. Once the visitor is seated and comfortable, the Usher is required to remove and store the article in the foyer. The Usher will then return the article and assist the visitor at the completion of the event.
RefreshmentsFood and drink are not permitted into the Theatre at any time, with the exception of bottled water. |
